The PMax Extreme 20 gives a massive amount of light in a very wide beam
making it ideal for high-speed off-road riding. The width of the beam
allows you to see well to both sides so you can use just one light,
either on helmet or handlebars. Riding with handlebar mounted light is
best in fog or dust. If you prefer helmet mounted, the Pmax/Extreme is
one of the lightest high power units on the market worldwide.
This popular model has been upgraded in 2010 with a new compact
flat-pack battery that shaves 100 grams from the
system weight and a wider range
of power settings that allow you to optimise your runtimes.
The PMax Extreme 20 and its less-powerful variant the
PMax 12 share the same
battery format and are completely interchangable.
Both the PMax 12 and PMax Extreme 20 feature extensive vented
heat-sinking and are extremely well cooled. This allows the LEDs to run at peak
brightness in all conditions. Active temperature management is an added
fail-safe.
